Readjusting ideas
Designing always takes time and careful consideration. These images show the development of our ideas. Playing with colour, texture and print.
We ended up reversing the eco printed fabric as we felt the look would dominate the overall effect too much. Balance is important.
We chose naturally dyed silk floss to hand embroider the sash. Satin stitch was employed in the negative spaces and stem stitch to high light the fern print.
