Starting with the drawing board

Beginning with discussion, notes, and sketches we brainstorm ideas. What shape will show off our sustainable textile techniques and processes to full advantage? What kind of shape will stand alone as a beautiful dress? How will we inspire and encourage people to work sustainably by creating this garment?

Gathering fabrics in the studio we start playing with form, thinking about drape and structure.
