Preparing the yarn to be warped onto the loom
After the silk had been left to dry naturally for a couple of days it was wound onto bobbins in order to create the warp for the loom.
Everything seemed to be going so well until we were confronted with a technical glitch. During dyeing, the fine filament yarn had developed a stickiness making the warping of the loom too problematic.
We are currently working out why this has happened and are optimistic that there is a solution!
