eccomi 8: Toile

Toile

Inspired by Korean historic dress, a bit of Balenciaga and the desire to celebrate sustainable textiles we now have a toile.  Using our research and concepts we have worked with dress pattern designer, Sally Payne, who has created a beautiful shape for the eccomi project.

Here are the first images of the calico toile.  Our next step is to decide which textile techniques and processes we will adopt for the naturally dyed taffeta fabric.
