eccomi 9: Final fabric
Our silk taffeta, a sticky project?
We are in the process of deepening our research into why the filament silk became sticky and not usable. We have decided to continue developing the fabric as the weft yarn has been more successful. In the next stage, the naturally dyed weft yarn has been combined with an unbleached silk warp. Off white of unbleached silk and our wild broom colour, combine to create a stunning shot silk tafetta.
The environmental credentials are good and this gives us time to resolve our production issue with the fine filament yarn.
